South Land Title Joins Texas First in Raising $440,000 for Texas Hill Country Flood Relief

When tragedy struck the Texas Hill Country, the community came together in a way only Texans can. South Land Title is proud to have joined forces with Texas First Bank, Security State Bank & Trust, and hundreds of individuals and businesses to raise a total of $440,000 in support of flood relief and recovery.

The funds will be distributed through the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country, a trusted local nonprofit directing aid to those hit hardest in Hunt, Ingram, Kerrville, Center Point, and Comfort.

South Land Title and our family of companies contributed $50,000 as part of this effort, responding quickly to the need and standing in support of those facing unthinkable loss. Among the companies who contributed were Doyle Law Firm, Texan Title Insurance Company, Texan Title Commercial Division and South Land Title’s sister companies Prominent Title, Highland Lakes Title and Longhorn Title operating in cities neighboring Kerr County.

“We are heartbroken over the devastation in the Hill Country and deeply moved by the generosity we’ve witnessed,” said Corby Jastrow, Vice President of Prominent Title. “Giving is part of our DNA as a Texas-rooted company. When our neighbors are hurting, we don’t hesitate—we show up.”

The initiative was led by Texas First Bank, who pledged to match the first $100,000 raised by the community. When donations exceeded expectations within the first week, Security State Bank & Trust stepped up to match an additional amount, doubling the total impact.

“We’re grateful to Texas First for creating this opportunity and honored to have played a part in the recovery effort,” added Pat Doyle, Founder & Chief Executive Officer of South Land Title.

South Land Title remains committed to the families and businesses rebuilding in the Hill Country and encourages others to continue giving. Donations can still be made via Texas First Bank’s Flood Recovery page.  Learn more about the matching efforts by Texas First Bank & Security State Bank & Trust here: Banks raise nearly $800,000 for Hill Country flood relief
