The South Land Title team is experienced in local and state transactions representing the largest underwriters in the nation including Texan Title, Stewart, Chicago Title, Essent Title, First American Title, Old Republic, Fidelity, Alamo, Title Resources and First National. We have the unique ability to make immediate decisions based on the needs of individual clients and our team looks forward to serving you.
Patrick F. Doyle
Founder & CEO
Pat has been in the title business since 1995, when he started South Land. Since then, the Texan Title family of companies has grown to include other independent and local title companies, such as Brazos County Abstract (now South Land) in Bryan/College Station, Security Title in Abilene, Prominent Title in Austin, Guaranty Title (now South Land) in Navasota, Washington County Abstract in Brenham and Longhorn Title in Georgetown. In 2019, Texan Title added an underwriter, Texan Title Insurance Company, to the Texan Title family. Patrick received his BBA from Texas Tech and Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law. Mr. Doyle is a Member of the State Bar and was awarded the title of Citizen of the Year in 2002.
Jeff Adams
COO & General Counsel
Jeff joined the Texan Title team in 2015. Jeff has over 20 years of legal experience in both private practice and in-house legal positions, together with 13 years’ experience in accounting and financial analysis. Jeff obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of Houston, a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, and a BBA in Accounting and Finance from Stephen F. Austin State University. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Texas Land Title Association.
Shannon Doyle Osborn
President
Shannon began her career in the title industry in 2016 after graduating from Texas Tech with a degree in Marketing. After spending her first three years with South Land as a Business Development Representatve in the Pearland and Friendswood markets, Shannon spent the next four years as Vice President of Commercial Business Development. She is a Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo volunteer and a member of both the BACREN and the Texas City/La Marque Chamber of Commerce. Shannon graduated from the TC/LM Chamber Leadership Mainland program, as well as the TLTA Land Title School. She was the youngest member of The Daily News 40 under 40 in 2019.
Shari Curtis Brown
Senior Vice President of Operations
Shari began her career in the title industry in 1987. She has experience in all types of real estate transactions, including residential, commercial and investor deals. She has the unique ability to remain calm under pressure and can always find the bright side to a situation. Shari has a “can do” attitude, strives to give the best customer service possible, and is very accommodating to her clients’ needs. In her position of Senior Vice President, Shari has responsibility for all title operations in the Gulf Coast area.
